How I love new music! Just when I was thought there was
nothing exciting on the horizon, here comes Death from Above
1979 and four bored English lads from a town called Leicester
- Kasabian who are in some ways The Chemical Brothers mixed
with a 21st Century version of The Stone Roses. What else?
The Kaiser Chefs "I Predict a Riot" is a future
hit that deserves a listen. With passionate Sting-like vocals,
"AFK" by Pinback hearkens back to The Police.
Keane, the musical guest on last weekend's Saturday
Night Live is remixed by DJ Shadow, making an already
great song transcendent.
